Dashain and Tihar is regarded as the biggest festival that is celebrated by Nepalese all over the world. And in this auspicious occasion many people go to their home from Kathmandu to different parts of Nepal or from different parts of Nepal to Kathmandu. And it is also the time when air traffic increases in the highest rate.
So, to manage the air traffic and not repeat the mistake as of last year as well as serve happiness to various customers for upcoming Dashain and Tihar, Nepal Airlines has conducted a test flight to various STOL destinations by its Harbin Y-12 E aircraft. Nepal Airlines is dedicated to provide service in the promising fare to the people of the country. However, the shortage of pilots for Y-12 E aircraft has not made the flag carrier provide its service even in a minimum count.
Till date Nepal Airlines has conducted a test flight to Chaurjhari Airport and Suketar Airport of Taplejung on August 3. Moreover, other test flight has also been done on Bhojpur, Bajura and Tumlingtar on August 5, 6 and 7. The scheduled flights have been running by Nepal Airlines now also but it has not been much effective so the flag carrier is dedicated in providing the scheduled services to these airports after successful test flights.
In addition, for the correct scheduling and successful flight, Nepal airlines has also been demanding Line captains to fly these Chinese aircraft before Dashain to various destination. This will also work to promote the visit Nepal 2020 and if goes according to the plan then Nepal Airlines would help massive travellers to easily travel from or to remote areas of Nepal from various destinations.
